Want to rent out your car?
• Let friends or family members borrow your car
• They’ll get their own insurance policy, so your no claims discount won’t be affected if they need to make a claim
Once you've found someone who is happy to lend you their car, you can use Cuvva to buy a standalone policy to drive it for as little as 1 hour, to as long as 28 days (although there are sometimes limits depending on the specific car or driver).
Does the car owner get paid by Cuvva to lend out their car?
The car owner can charge a fee, or keep it free! Any fee will be added into the price of the borrower's policy price.
Can I borrow someone else’s van?
Yes you can! Borrowing a car or van is the same process in the Cuvva app. For full licence holders, you’ll usually need to be aged 19-70 to use Cuvva, and have held your licence for over a year
