There’s no disputing it: Londoners are Britain’s best drivers!
Our driving insights are backed by data from over fifteen thousand users, who have collectively taken over one million trips.
The average Londoner’s score was 83 out of 100 - a very impressive total against stiff opposition from drivers in other regions.
Londoners particularly excelled at watching their speed, a category in which they scored 89 - the highest in the country.
They also scored highest in cornering, with a score of 75.
Their braking score was 73, their acceleration was 71 and their focus was 95. Not bad at all!
Even though Londoners came out on top, they were pushed close by the North West, the East of England and the South East, who came in just a point behind with a driving score of 82.
The North East & Yorkshire, the East Midlands, Wales, the South West and the West Midlands all scored 81 points.
Scotland scored 80 points and came in last place, but still led the nation in acceleration (76) and braking (77).
